2014 New York International Auto Show Preview

It's that time of the year again, The Auto Show is in town! I've been exploring the show floor for the past two days and I was definitely impressed with what I saw. Chevrolet introduced a brand new convertible Corvette that literally took my breath away and a few other brands have cars that look like they are straight out of a futuristic sci-fi movie.

I know that many of you are geared up and ready to go the show when it officially opens tomorrow. Here are some photos of my show favorites for you to check out. Maybe they will help give you an idea of what you should plan to see first as you venture through the crowds of car enthusiasts.

Cadillac And Bose Debut The Centerpoint Surround Sound System With 2015 Escalade

Cadillac and Bose held a press event to introduce the world to the new centerpoint surround sound system that will come equipped inside of the 2015 Cadillac Escalade. The event took place in New York City and there was a live DJ on hand streaming music directly into the 2015 Escalade.

Is The 2014 Cadillac CTS "Terry McFly Approved"?

The 2014 Cadillac CTS has been winning over the critics before the new year even began. It was recently awarded the prestigious honor of being Motortrend's 2014 Car of the Year. With all that buzz and hype, it was only a matter of time before it was put to the test by yours truly.

Chevrolet Features Terry McFly On A Billboard in Times Square

The year 2013 seems to be ending very epic-ly. Chevrolet has been promoting the 2014 Corvette Stingray on various billboards throughout New York City. The billboard in Times Square (located above the American Eagle store, 1551-1555 Broadway) seems to be more special than the others. This billboard  is a promo for the Reverse Test Drive that was filmed a few months ago. For me, this billboard is monumental because it is my very first billboard in New York City. What better place to have your first billboard than Times Square...

Is The 2014 Corvette Stingray Terry McFly Approved?

Since the beginning of the year I have been eagerly waiting to get behind the wheel of the 2014 Corvette Stingray to see for myself exactly what it can do and how it performs. I would've never imagined or even guessed that I would be driving the 2014 Corvette Stingray or any other vehicle this way. Chevrolet gave me the opportunity to be apart of history. They invited me to participate in the world's first ever reverse test drive on a closed  track in Nevada.

A Private Affair: The Cadillac Elmiraj

A week ago (Aug.15)... Cadillac revealed the Elmiraj Concept in Carmel, California. The Elmiraj four-seat rear-wheel drive grand coupe provides a look inside the Cadillac Studio on how it envisions performance and luxury for the next generation of luxury drivers. The concept vehicle is lightweight, agile and 205-inches in length. It is powered by a 4.5-liter twin turbocharged V8 delivering an estimated 500 hp.

Thursday August 22nd, Cadillac held a private design reception on a rooftop in New York City. Some of NYC's top influencers were allowed a first look at the Cadillac Elmiraj, I was amongst those influencers.

Chevy Urban Style Hits NY’s Milk Studios

Chevrolet gathered creative minds from many industries recently at Milk Gallery in New York to promote its completely redesigned 2014 Impala, at an event dubbed 'Chevy Urban Style'. Key members of the Impala team were on hand to share their inspirations behind the resurgence of the brand's flagship sedan, including: Crystal Windham, Director of Interior Design for Chevrolet Cars and Small Crossovers and Kara Gordon, Vehicle Performance Engineer. Photography of the Impala by Rick Williams, Founder and Creative Director of the Distinct Life creative agency and General Motors enthusiast, decorated the gallery space. Williams also co-owns Burn Rubber and two|eighteen by Burn Rubber, two urban street wear and sneaker boutiques in Royal Oak, MI. NYIAS: The GM Show Floor And The New Z28

The New York International Auto Show is officially here! I've been spending the past few days with the amazing people that work for General Motors. I've attended their press conferences and toured the show floors of Cadillac, Chevrolet, & Buick... I am truly impressed by what GM has to offer us in 2014.

Most of the auto show buzz has been about the new Chevrolet Camaro Z28, which was unveiled during the Chevrolet Press Conference on Day 1 of Press Days.

The 2014 Cadillac CTS midsize luxury sedan made its world debut on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at a special event on the eve of the New York International Auto Show in New York City.

The 2014 CTS is longer, lower and leaner utilizing lightweight technologies that enable the most agile driving dynamics in the class.

The Corvette's 60th Anniversary In NYC

Chevrolet returned to where it all started to give the 2014 Corvette Stingray a traditional welcoming party. This is the seventh generation of the Corvette and Chevrolet wanted to celebrate in style by showing it off alongside all of it's predecessors. There were Corvettes from various generations on display for attendees to admire, but as expected... everyone swooned immediately to the newcomer.

Behind The Scenes: TerryMcFly x Cadillac Photoshoot

These past few weeks I've put my blogging on hold for a few days to prepare and focus on a few projects. One of those highly anticipated projects was my DC area photoshoot featuring the 2013 Cadillac XTS. To ensure that this photoshoot was the best it could be, I formed a super team of creatives. This super team included ZSG Photography (zsgphoto.com), Stylist Marci Rodgers (styleproper.com), Make Up Artist Tiffany Fields (blushenbeauty.com), Model Alissa Bourne, and yours truly. My wardrobe was provided by Young Whales (youngwhalesbrand.com), it's from their latest collection which isn't available in stores yet. Alissa's wardrobe was provided by the D.Piper Twins (dpipertwins.com), it's from their Kastle Designs collection which can be purchased on their website.

We completed the photoshoot this weekend, as many of you following me on twitter or on facebook may already know. It was very cold but we had a blast and the results are phenomenal  While we prepare to unveil the final product, I want to share some of the behind the scenes photos with all of you.

Never had make-up done before so this was all new to me.

Terry's Big Orlando Adventure Part 4: Epcot, Malls, & Raves

I've been here in Orlando for just about a week now. I've been having a blast at all the disney parks but in order to get the true experience I think I need to venture out and explore a few more locales. There were still 2 more disney parks I have yet to visit in the 2013 Cadillac ATS, those parks were Epcot and Magic Kingdom. I figured I would hit up those two parks and then enjoy some of the night life festivities in the area with my former Orlando friends & colleagues.

Terry's Big Orlando Adventure Part 3: Disney's Animal Kingdom

Today's journey was a meaningful one, it was my first return back to the place where I would spend most of my days hard at work as a college intern from New Jersey. Disney's Animal Kingdom aka DAK as we used to call it. In 2006, I worked here as a member of the main entrance park operations crew. Terry's Big Orlando Adventure Part 1: The Arrival

It feels like I havent blogged in forever, it's not that I've become lazy...There's just been so much to blog about this week that I've become slightly overwhelmed, but trust it's something that I can handle.  I'm currently on an Orlando adventure and while I'm here I will share with you a few live photos from the excitement so far. Here's what has happened so far in Terry's Big Orlando Adventure. I boarded my Jet Blue flight Friday morning. While on the plane I had the pleasure of viewing Steve Urkle do the Urkle Dance for about 10 minutes -_- LOL. That was an interesting diversion from the crying baby and parents that I was forced to sit next to for the duration of my flight.

MTV Iggy x Chevy "Cover The World" Behind the Scenes With Gyptian [EXCLUSIVE]

“Cover the World" is an MTV Iggy partnership with Chevrolet through which four global musical artists will cover an iconic song chosen by fans online at www.covertheworld.com.  The “Cover the World” artists, which include South Korea’s WonderGirls, Jamaica’s Gyptian, Australia’s Angus Stone, and America’s All Time Low, will each bring their own regional flavor to the recording to celebrate the arrival of the 2013 Chevrolet Spark in the United States and Canada.

The fans have voted and the song they chose was "True Colors" By Cyndi Lauper. Now it's time for the fun part, which is getting these unique artists together to record their unique variations of this song.

I was invited to the legendary Electric Lady Studios (the studio where Jimi Hendrix made his music) in Manhattan to meet with Gyptian as he recorded his segment for "Cover The World". While on set, In true Terry McFly fashion, I used my iPhone 4S to capture a few behind the scenes photos to share with all of you.
