Bose hosted a private event to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the company. The event highlights how far the company has evolved over the past 50 years. There was product on display from every era that they were established as a brand. It was literally a Bose museum. I discovered so many products that I never knew existed and learned about new product developments that are being released this year.

 Well for me the answer to this question above was "No". I have found countless articles on Blue Light and studies that have been done. One of the articles that stood out was by Chris Kresser:

"It is well established that short-wavelength or “blue” light is the most melatonin-suppressive; this is the type of light typically emitted by devices such as televisions, computer screens, and cellphones. (14, 15) To produce white light, these electronic devices must emit light at short wavelengths, close to the peak sensitivity of melatonin suppression. In the past few weeks a handful of my Twitter friends have been hacked. Usually a weird looking direct message will go out asking you to click on a link.

Unboxing: The iPhone 5s has ARRIVED!!!!

Everyone has some tradition they keep year after year. For me I have 2 that have been going strong for the past 6+ years. 1 - Taking a week off for Call of Duty when it releases. 2 - Getting the new iPhone on release date. As Call of Duty is still a couple of months away this means that I have picked up the new iPhone 5s.


I went to the AT&T store as I knew the Apple store was going to be insane. The AT&T store told us that they do not have any of the white (Silver\Gold) iPhone's. Only the Space Gray was available :\ From what I have heard even Apple stores barely have the white ones. I purchased the 32GB Space Gray + Apple Care. Apple Care is something I have had to get because replacing a cracked screen on the iPhone 5 and 5s is really expensive. They are more expensive then Apple care itself. Apple Care is $99 and covers the earpods, charger, charging wire, and iPhone for 2 years. It will cost me $50 to replace my iPhone if it gets damaged. I can only replace it twice.

Welcome to my very first blog post. My name is Adil Sheikh (@TheSheikh) and I am a certified Tech Nut or iNerd. I have owned every single iPhone on day of release. This may make you think all my blog post will be about Apple stuff. Not quite, I am also a big Android OS fan. Their partnership with Samsung has created some of the most amazing smartphones out there. I also have a small tiny part of my heart that likes Windows OS. Now what do I do in real life. I work for a pharmaceutical company supporting their Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution. What is MDM? It is a tool that is used to lock down, control, encrypt, and enforce policies on mobile devices such as tablets and smart phones. I am also a video game geek.

This is the second major iOS release since the passing of Mr. Steve Jobs. Things have changed in Apple land as most of us can tell. The 'WOW' factor seems to be missing with Apple. But that may not be a bad thing. Apple has proven to consumers that they make great reliable products. iOS is the most stable smartphone OS out there and there is no denying that. Android makes a GREAT OS and has some amazing features, but the OS is not as stable as Apple's.

A few days ago, a friend sent me a video on my phone. At first I didn't really know what the heck I was watching, I thought it was some sort of video game or cell phone commercial. It was far much cooler than what I thought it was, that is if it actually does what it seems to be doing in this video. It's actually a video of special glasses that Google is designing. These glasses pretty much make life look as if it's a video game, some very futuristic movie stuff here. The glasses don't really have a name, it's just known as Google Project Glass. Below, I've posted a description of what Project Glass is and the video that was sent to my phone. Prepare to be AMAZED!

"The World's First Social Camera" The Hipstamatic D-Series App

iPhone photo app maker Synthetic thinks it has found a way to combine the suspense of analog film with digital convenience through the new Hipstamatic D-Series app for iOS.

The D-Series — billed as a “disposable camera for iOS” — allows groups of iPhone-toting friends to share a batch of 24 shots. Friends invite one another through Facebook to shoot to a specific roll. As everyone shoots their own photos — from the same party, same town, or anywhere wirelessly connected — the amount of shots left decreases, just like an old-school roll of analog film.

Also like analog film, no one can see what’s being shot while the D-Series roll is in progress. But once the final shot is used, all the participating friends are delivered the entire batch of 24 photos, arranged chronologically and with labels saying who shot what. Users are then free to share those individual images with whomever they please.

The D-Series is available free in the Apple App Store and includes one camera, while an in-app purchase option will initially allow users to buy three other 99-cent cameras with different effects.
