New Era Cap announces the upcoming release of a new snapback series, exclusive to their flagship stores in London, Birmingham and Berlin. “An innovative twist on the classic New Era fitted silhouette, the colourful collection of 18 snapbacks features contrast visors and heavy embroidery in a range of authentic NBA teams through to NHL and Hardwood Classics.” Watch for a release beginning July 20th with further pieces dropping up until the 30th. Again, these are available only in the European flagship stores. Which is absolutely ridiculous given the subject matter.
I really like this little series called The Original Hipster by Julia Chesky. Chesky is a Parson school graduate, Soho retoucher and store windows obsesser. She shot this story with Art Director Ali Lee and Chris, an interesting (homeless) model, the editorial is based on The Pushcart War book. Personally I have always found the homeless to be a great source of inspiration and totally agreed with Julia’s title “The Original Hipster”.
