New Video: "Copy, Paste" by Diggy Simmons

Yesterday on 106 & Park, Diggy Simmons premiered his brand new video which is also the first single off his long awaited album. I've been following the career of Diggy for a while now so its good to see the evolution of the quality and budget being used for his freshman career. I liked this video up until the dancing part, I hope that routine gets the ax! I hated it when he performed it at the BET Awards pre-show and I hate it even more now that's its in the video. To each his own I guess, check out the video below.

Music: "Thinking About You" by Frank Ocean ...or maybe NOT

New track from Odd Future's R&B crooner Frank Ocean, there's no word on where this song will appear but it certainly is a great song.

(Update!!!! This song was penned by Frank Ocean but it's apparently not his song, check out the story below)

You know that "new" Frank Ocean joint that he posted to his Tumblr the other night and then quickly deleted? Well, it turns out dude deleted it because it wasn't technically his track. Yeah, he might have written it and clearly sang the damn thing, but it was apparently a reference track for Bridget Kelly. She's calling it "Thinking About Forever" and, wouldn't you know it, she sounds just as good as Ocean did, if not slightly better. This song has hit potential written all over it, especially considering her connections, so get used to it. Those of you who have seen Jay-Z in concert these past few years might recognize her as the booming voice behind the live version of "Empire State of Mind."

Listen to "Thinking About Forever" at Life and Times.

Asics x Ronnie Fieg – ‘Mint Leaf” Gel Lyte III

Here's the latest Asics release from our friend Ronnie Fieg. This is a really nice colorway, there will definitely be a line for these.

Here's a description of the shoe design from Ronnie himself.

When I was younger I would take trips to Israel every summer to visit my grandparents in the hills of a small town called Zichron Yaakov. My grandfather along with a small crew built this amazing house from scratch and it was where my entire family would go every summer to be together. My entire family is obsessed with drinking hot or cold tea mixed with mint leaf so my grandmother grew a mint leaf garden in the back of the house. Every day my grandmother would send me to the garden to pick a few branches for their morning dose. I remember the first time I picked those branches, I was 7 years old and I became obsessed with the leaf and smell. My mother used to have to come and drag me off the soil because I would just lay there and chill while taking in this addicting scent. For years my family would joke around about it, they even nicknamed me ‘minty’. My grandmother told me she found pictures of me in the garden but I couldn’t get in time for this post, I will post them later this summer when I get to her house.

I used a very rich nubuck for this release. The nubuck leather needed to have a texture that could hold the vibrant mint green in a way smooth leather cannot. I used my favorite mesh for the toe box and collar, the same mesh I used on the Navy Aquas. The midsole is a very light grey and the outsole is a darker grey. I’ve been wearing my pair for a few months and they wear in nicely. Priced at $120, These ‘Mint Leaf’ Gel Lyte III’s will release this coming Friday, July 15th at 10am Est. with a limited run at the David Z. flagship (556 Broadway) as well as online at The release is first come first served so please do not call and ask for a pair to be put aside. They are sizes are unisex and range from 4.5-13. It has been a great run and this will be my last footwear release in David Z. Although I certainly hope the site won’t crash again for this release, I want to remind you that I am not in charge of the David Z website and I no longer work in the DZ offices. They will do their best with their servers and I will do my best to prepare them for this release. Good luck! Shots by Sean Munro.

New Music: "No Particular One" by Theophilus London

I found this new track from Theophilus today while browsing the web. I'm feelin this song, it reminds me of his old mixtape days when he would incorporate island instruments. This one comes from Hypetrak, check it out below:

Hypetrak proudly presents an all-new song by Theophilus London. This time around, the versatile Brooklynite offers his very own rendition of John Boone's "Particular One." Mr. London's version was recorded in winter 2010 with Thomas Brenneck and the Budos Band. The creative minds gave it a Western and calypso flavor. The track starts off with the percussion first beating multiple glass bottles. The tune contains all live instruments and was recorded in only one take. "No Particular One" is reminiscent of his previous "Calypso Blues." The artist plans to finish an album in this style under a new alias in spring of 2012. This is an exclusive but be on the lookout for more appetizers like remixes, unreleased material and merchandising to appear before Timez Are Weird These Dayz drops July 19. Enjoy!

New Music: "DreamKilla" by Frank Ocean

Here's an unreleased track from Frank Ocean titled "Dream Killa".This song has sort of a techno upbeat feel to it, feel free to check it out below and if you like it download it.

Vans Vault Zapato Del Barco Lo-Pro LX Patent

Vans decided to add new materials to their classic designs, these are nice. The patent leather definitely makes them a bit more interesting. The three colorways are Black, Storm Blue, and Radiant Orchid.

Adidas Originals by Jeremy Scott "Leopard" Sneakers

Jeremy Scott releases his animal inspired sneaker for Spring Summer 2012. This shoe is interesting, I would honestly rock these without the tail. I hope the tail is detachable. The kids version reminds me of the teddy bear sneakers he released last season. I'm glad to see that he added a kids line because his designs are perfect for them.
