Mixtape Spotlight: "Digital Dan LP" by Nemo Achida

Last night at the SWC event in Newark, NJ. I heard an artist from Kentucky by the name of Nemo Achida perform, at first it was crazy to see an artist from Kentucky in New Jersey but I could see the raw talent as soon as he started performing a few of these tracks from the Digital Dan LP. I met with Nemo afterwards and discovered that he has a mixtape, and its a pretty damn good mixtape. One of the best hip-hop mixtapes I've heard in a long time, its called Digital Dan. It seems that Nemo has quite a following, I tweeted out an image of him performing at the event and a mass of people retweeted it and asked me about his performance. Check out the Digital Dan LP below and download it, this is real hip-hop right here. Definitely "Terry Mcfly Approved"!

Goodday Goodfolk,
I've been holding-on to this project since October of last year. Although some of the content & approaches differ from where my head is as of now, I'm still passionate & committed to this effort. The title 'Digital Dan' has very little meaning... it's more or less my way of crowning myself in the present-era. Majority of my self-produced records are created digitally, as well as promotion, imaging, etc. So that's the 'Logic' behind the title. The production ranges from myself, to myself & Clutch Porter, L. Starks(kentucky), DJ Well-Blended(detroit), King Mitus(nyc) ..& I think that's it. You'll notice that I attempted to spill a different facet of myself onto each record. So there'll probably not be a moment where you completely settle in. I'm not 100% sure if thats how albums are created, but I am definitely sure that this is the way to find my 'complete-Balance' - & I plan to do just that. Stay with me folks, I have more to come this year.......... for me, this entire journey is about staying positive & consistent.

enjoy,
Nemo Achida

New Music: "How to Love" by Lil Wayne

This track is believed to be the next single off Weezy's highly anticipated Carter 4 album. I know this song will receive tons of radio play just because its cross genre. I was one of the few people that actually enjoyed Lil Wayne's Rock album and I don't think this song is bad niether, despite what some of the other blogs may be saying about it. It's a slow ballad by Lil Wayne but I've heard worst. Check it out for yourself and be the judge, ENJOY!

Madbury Does Goblin (Street Review)

The good folks at MadburyClub.com conducted a live street review in New York City for Goblin, the controversial album from Tyler the Creator of Odd Future. I think this was a great idea because I love to hear unbiased reviews by the public that's unfamiliar with the artist.

As you can imagine, the responses are wide and varied. Walk with us!

Kangol x Patta ‘Summer of Love’ Collection

I've been thinking about getting one of these hats for a while and it's definitely making a comeback along with those 80s track suits.

The Patta x Kangol Bermuda Casual hats are knitted in Kangol’s proprietary bouclรฉ yarn, treated with special processes before they are blocked. This gives the hat a soft and rich hand-feel for extra wearing comfort. The hats will be available in 3 colors: black, red and beige, all with contrasting top buttons and embroidered Kangol and Patta logos.

The hats will be available May 14th at Patta and selected Kangol premium stockists worldwide.

First Look: Supra Skytop 3

As featured in the latest issue of Sneaker Freaker Magazine, here is a first look at Chad Muska's Supra Skytop III. Personally, I prefer the super high top of the Skytop 2, but it looks like they decided to take a different route with the 3. This shoe seems to be more sporty.
