NYC DUNK XCHANGE: OCCUPY WALL STREET

Terry McFly with Victor Cruz (Co-Owner of Young Whales)
Last week (April 6th), was Dunk XChange's NYC Occupy Wall Street edition event at 25 Wall Street. This year it seemed as if there were a lot more pre-teens accompanied by mom and dad selling/trading their kicks. You didn't really catch a lot of classic throwbacks kicks this year, just more contemporary oddities like the Nike Air Foamposite One Galaxy, Yeezy's I & II or the Nike Marty McFly's. If you were on a search for Jordans that you couldn't find in any store you definitely would've found them yesterday as well. The event was hosted by, Puma from VH1's Black Ink, Gary Hughes Co-Owner of DunkXChange, and Jack Thriller celebrity interviewer. They had special guest, Victor Cruz in the building from the NY Giants representing his Young Whales line, who is also a good friend over at TerryMcfly.com. The Source magazine had set up shop , and so the did the lovely ladies of Strawberry Blunt, who also went around with strawberry cupcakes. There was a Crook's and Castle's fashion show, live performances by local artist, and live paintings including the very talented Dez of FlyKickz. We came across some hot up and coming brands yesterday like, Yours Truly, PRBLM CHILD NYC, and BLK. ID. Shoutouts to Media Hunter PR, Sam from Yourstruly.com, and Istanza from PRBLM Child NYC.
