"Lover Lover" By Zewdy Feat. Jo Mersa

The Habesha Princess is back! Fresh from touring with fellow R&B songstress Solange, Zewdy has decided to release her brand new single "Lover Lover" here on TerryMcFly.com. I was just watching Zewdy sing last week on the David Letterman Show and here she is back in her homeland of Jersey with the gift of new music to share with us.

Zewdy's "Lover Lover" also features the talent of Jo Mersa (Joseph Marley), the son of Stephen Marley. "Lover Lover" has a smooth caribbean melody to it. Zewdy sings about being in love and being treated with love throughout the song.

To learn more about Zewdy, check out her first TerryMcFly.com feature from back in 2009.

  1. Incredible record! Smooth vocals, great melodies, with a caribbean swing. I can definitely hear this on every radio station.

  2. I love it! The record's got an upbeat percussion blended with layered guitars and effects to give the song a beach-y vibe. Great feature to complement the style of the instrumental! And of course, the vocals are on point! I LOVE the harmonies behind the "Sweet melodies like dah-dah-duh-dee, he sings to my heart all night" line! Keep it up Zew!!
