Movie Review: The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spider-Man was a pretty awesome film. They rebooted the live action film series to make it more like the actual comic book series. The film is pretty long compared to the other spider-man films, The Amazing Spider-Man is about 2 hours & 16 minutes long.  The storyline had very brief similarity to the other movies but not even enough to say it was a copy or even similar.

The theatrics of this film were pretty much flawless, they did an AMAZING job. My complaints about the film are minor and some even based on personal tastes. For example, I think the lizard villian was pretty boring but well executed. I liked that spider-man made his own webbing but he never runs out of web cartridges in the film so it becomes a useless addition to the remake. They don't even go into extensive detail about the webbing to know if it even uses cartridges or how it works. He minds well still shoot webs out of his human wrist like the other films. Another complaint I have is that they didn't really go into full detail of how he constructed the suit, it was brief details but not in depth enough for my liking. I want to see how he got those cool shoes and everything. Oh yea and the bonus footage at the end of the movie during the credits was straight up WACK!

Overall, The Amazing Spiderman was a thrilling film. I was pretty much entertained from beginnnig to end. As usual with Marvel films, you will laugh and cheer as you watch your favorite crime fighter web sling and take on bad guys. The Amazing Spider-Man is "Terry McFly Approved".
