Yesterday, I was invited by a friend to check out an off Broadway show called Fuerza Bruta. I didn't know anything about this show except for the fact that it received raving reviews and the tickets were about 100 bucks a piece. From what I read online I assumed it was some sort of trapeze act but it was way more than that. This show was an experience, there's so much going on that you feel like you're taking drugs while sitting in the ocean of a bizarre parallel universe. And yes I had to say all that to describe it lol, this show makes you feel as if you're in some sort of sci fi music video. This is a truly an interactive show, the show last about 70 minutes and you view it standing up. The cast interacts with the audience and you soon feel as if you're actually a part of the show and not just watching it. First time viewers will be a nervous wreck because you never know whats going to happen next and if it will involve you moving around the room. The part of the show that blew my mind the most was the people swimming above the audience. I've captured a few videos and photos to share with those of you that like to live vicariously. Check out the photos and videos and feel free to leave a comment.
